Mastercam setup & XML output walk-through
How to use Aegenix efficiently to cut cycle time on Mastercam programs.

Use the year of your version in the 2026 address.
Getting Started
Install Aegenix, open and obtain your machine ID, send the machine ID(s) back to us, then activate your license, and complete the initial setup.
Using Aegenix - Recommended workflow and best practices.
When prompted to enable macros upon opening, click the box at the top.
You may need to adjust zoom to 90% for correct display.
General workflow is:
Output a standard Mastercam setup sheet (see video) >
Open Aegenix>
Import your XML file>
Complete the Engineering Assessment>
Add router information>
Add the Setup Instructions>
Review Engineering Dashboard>
Fix any issues>
Re-Import new XML file>
Print Machinist Packet>
