Aegenix started with a problem I kept seeing throughout my career in manufacturing.
The knowledge was there. Programmers knew why decisions were made. Engineers knew which details mattered. Experienced machinists knew what to watch for.
But too often, that knowledge never made it to the next person.
As experienced manufacturing talent becomes harder to replace, shops need to bring less-experienced people up to speed on processes that aren't getting any simpler.
I’ve spent years training machinists on the shop floor, and one thing became clear: experience takes time to build. Knowing what to watch for, what matters, and what can go wrong isn't learned overnight.
At the same time, I saw a lack of practical setup documentation that gave machinists exactly what they needed without burying it in information they didn't. Those two problems became the foundation for Aegenix.
Aegenix grew from years of hands-on manufacturing experience—and a problem that kept showing up.
