Payments made through the Aegenix website may be processed by Squarespace and/or third-party payment processors.

The applicable payment processor may collect payment information directly from you, including payment-card or other financial information necessary to complete the transaction.

Aegenix may receive transaction-related information such as:

Aegenix does not necessarily receive or store your complete payment-card number or other complete financial credentials when that information is submitted directly to a third-party payment processor.

7. LICENSE AND MACHINE IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

Aegenix uses machine-specific licensing.

To issue, activate, administer, or verify an Aegenix license, we may collect or receive a machine identifier generated by the Software or the computer on which the Software will be used.

Aegenix may use machine-identification and licensing information to:

  • Generate License Keys

  • Activate licenses

  • Associate a license with an Authorized Computer

  • Verify license validity

  • Determine license expiration

  • Provide licensing support

  • Transfer or replace licenses when appropriate

  • Prevent unauthorized activation or license sharing

  • Detect or investigate licensing misuse

  • Enforce the Aegenix Software License Agreement

Providing a machine identifier to Aegenix does not itself provide Aegenix with access to the files, programs, manufacturing information, customer information, or other unrelated data stored on that computer.

8. MANUFACTURING DATA PROCESSED BY AEGENIX

Aegenix software processes manufacturing information on the user's computer.

Depending on the files and information used with Aegenix, this may include:

  • Mastercam XML information

  • CAM information

  • Part information

  • Tooling information

  • Toolpath information

  • Machine information

  • Work offsets

  • Setup information

  • Workholding information

  • Manufacturing parameters

  • Customer or job information contained within manufacturing files

  • Images

  • Notes

  • Other manufacturing-related information

Aegenix does not automatically receive, upload, transmit, or collect manufacturing data processed locally by the Software solely because you use Aegenix.

Your use of Aegenix to process a Mastercam XML file or other supported manufacturing information does not, by itself, transmit that manufacturing information to Aegenix, LLC.

This is separate from licensing information, such as machine identifiers, that you may provide to Aegenix for license activation and administration.

9. INFORMATION VOLUNTARILY PROVIDED FOR SUPPORT

You may choose to provide Aegenix with files or information for troubleshooting, technical support, product testing, or other assistance.

This may include:

  • XML files

  • Screenshots

  • Aegenix files

  • Error messages

  • Manufacturing information

  • Sample data

  • Reports

  • Configuration information

  • Other files or information relevant to your support request

When you voluntarily provide such information, Aegenix may access and use it as reasonably necessary to investigate and respond to your request, troubleshoot the issue, test compatibility, or improve the Software.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to provide Aegenix with any customer, employer, proprietary, confidential, or third-party information contained in materials you submit.

Aegenix will not acquire ownership of your underlying manufacturing or customer data merely because you provide it for support.

10. WEBSITE FORMS AND COMMUNICATIONS

When you submit information through a form on the Aegenix website, we collect the information requested by that form so that we can respond to your submission or provide the requested service.
